In 2011, young couple Daniela Widmer (Morgane Ferru, Berlin Syndrome) and David Osch (Sven Schelker, Goliath) are on their way home from Pakistan to Switzerland after months of travelling in a camper van. 

As they drive along the old Silk Road, they end up in the hands of violent criminals who abduct them and sell them to the Taliban in war-torn Waziristan, over 500km away. The two of them are held hostage in the most precarious conditions and hardly anyone expects them to get out alive. Do they chance a daring escape and free themselves from the Taliban’s clutches?
